10 Tips: How To Take Care Of Mattress!!



Mattress is one of the key role players in the sleep comfort. It is the major factor that affects the quality of your sleep and ultimately your health. A poor mattress may cause sleep abnormalities which ultimately lead to insomnia; which is a sleep disorder.  So it is very important to take proper care of your mattress to make it alive, you need to maintain it on regular basis. Here, I have suggested some tips which will help you in protecting your mattress from getting warn out.
Proper installation:
Ensure that your bed frame and mattress are properly installed and configured with each other. Improper configuration may cause poor sleep and hence affects your health. If the store personnel is going to install then it is best; but if you are going to transport and install it at your own then you need to ask your store man to provide you with proper manual or tips about installation.
Rotation:
You must rotate your mattress on regular basis. You have to rotate it in two ways; from end to end and from top to bottom. Make a weekly or fortnightly routine to rotate the mattress.
Protective pad:
You need to have a protective pad for mattress as well as foundation so that you may keep your set fresh and stainless. This pad must be washable and of high quality.
Let it breathe:
A breath of fresh air is too much necessary for the mattress. It is useful especially when your mattress is spreading any odor of new product. Put it in proper ventilated place for few hours so that odor may get lower or vanish.
Good support:
The bed frame must be sturdy and high quality. If your bed is queen of king sized then make it sure that it is having strong foundation from mid. Strong support will save your mattress from breakage and bowing.  
Do not dry clean:
The chemicals or the spot removers that your cleaner or agent is using may be harmful for your mattress. It may harm the foam, or the fabric that is underlying in mattress. One the best solution for cleaning the mattress is vacuum cleaning; but if there is some stain which is irritating you and you want to remove it then you may use soap and cold water. Wash the mattress lightly and do not over soak your mattress.   
Do not remove tags:
Do not ever remove the tag because this tag, in later, serves you as a source for warranty claims. Moreover, these tags contain some information like dos and dons of using mattress.
No boards:
Do not use boards in the center of the mattress of the foundation. For initial moments, it may serve as a good support but it will make the problem worse over the period of time. When you came to know that your mattress now need a board; get rid of it and purchase a new one.
Throw it out:
Once you remove a mattress from your bed then do not give it to your kids, relatives, guests and friends. It will be health harming to them. Do not even donate it; just throw it out.
Manufacturer’s instructions:
Keenly read and follow all the instructions that are provided by the manufacturer.
